Miss Cherokee Queen Of Hope
Miss Cherokee County Queen of Hope Honorary Title Holders, Abigail Kelley & Lindsay Simmons
We at the Miss Cherokee County Scholarship Organization believe that the hope of the future belongs to our children, and in honor of these very special young ladies, we have given them the title of Miss Cherokee County Queen of Hope.
Abigail Kelley, of Ballground, Ga. was crowned Miss Cherokee Queen of Hope at this year's Cherokee County Relay for Life Cherokee event. Abigail was diagnosed with juvenile pilocytic astrocytoma. She is being treated at Children's healthcare of Atlanta, and is doing great!
Lindsay Simmons, of Canton, Ga. was crowned Miss Cherokee Queen of Hope at the Miss Cherokee Fair 2007 pageant. Lindsay has participated in our Young Miss Cherokee pageant system over the last two years, and we have always considered her one of our own. When we heard of her recent diagnosis of Leukemia, we knew she was our next Miss Cherokee Queen of Hope. Lindsay is also being treated at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and is doing great too!
It is with hope and also faith that we crown these two beatiful little girls with these very special titles. They are now a part of the Miss Cherokee family, and as part of our royalty are invited to make all official appearances with our Miss Cherokee queens. We are honored to have them in the Miss Cherokee family, and we are so very proud of them!
